Vintage and simply amazing. Cassie and Javier Arias celebrated their wedding day on a perfect fall day in Arizona at Tre Bella in Mesa. They met through mutual friends and you could see all the love in the room with their 20 person bridal party. Yes, it was that much of a party to get them started. This couple has had a tough road to the altar but they made it. Their most difficult challenge was dealing with vendors that didn’t stick to their day. Through thick and thin is definitely the Arias’ mantra forever. I have known Javier for many years before Cassie and I have never seen him this way. He was funny, schedule focused but an incredible husband. I cried during their ceremony and I think it is the reality on how far they’ve come.
Cassie’s off white sweetheart neckline gown was beyond striking. The beaded details, folded edging, and princess ruffled rouching was bridal through and through. She wore pink converse that matched her daughter’s cute dress shoes perfectly. It just fit her once you met her. Cassie and her entourage of women got ready at the Marriott close by. There were tons of little girls and classically pink things all over. I made my way over to the venue to be greeted by the rocking staff at Tre Bella (3 coordinators to help is great) and feasted my eyes on the party bus. A smile quickly made its way across my face and I was quick to greet the guys to piling out of that bus. Ron Burgundy was on the back – enough said!
Javier and his groomsmen then took some amazing shots with his classic car. Men and their cars just make the photos rock. We made it back after our photos to get Cassie ready for their first look photos. It was fun watching a young family like this include little Haydin in this moment. There were plenty of hugs and kisses for both his ladies.
The ceremony site was decorated in lanterns and mini tea lights, rustic wood boxes, lush flower arrangements and a 3 tier translucent display door at the altar. The sand ceremony in 3 skinny tall heart vases was a great touch. Then, the reception used the same pink, light green and ivory colors throughout the guest tables and site. Each table had a lantern, old books (alternating tables), chalkboard numbering, and personalized thank you notes to each guest. Did I mention each chair was adorned with draping name cards to each chavari chair? Perfect touches. The wedding cake was topped a multi tier of cupcakes leading down to a custom cake topper (too heavy for cake) resembling them as a couple. Want to see more? Scroll down.
Girls always look amazing in classic cars.
Very cool wall in downtown Mesa.
Look below to see their cake topper of them!
Guests found their way through a seating chart assisted with personalized names on each chair. Plus, Mariachi’s lined the way with upbeat music.
I’m eager to hear about their honeymoon but so glad to see the photos they’ve been sharing on Facebook from 7 days in Cancun, Mexico. Such a fitting ending for a great couple. See what they had to say about their wedding day in their words….
Favorite Moment: Taking it in all during the reception and realizing all the love and support we had.

Words of Wisdom: Don’t make it a frustrating experience during the planning stages. Do what YOU want and feel comfortable with- don’t try to impress anyone else except yourselves.
