Chelsea & Mike – Sassi

When weddings are like this one, you can’t go wrong. Chelsea and Mike were married at Sassi in North Scottsdale. Their day was filled with incredible moments throughout not to mention Chelsea felt more like a best friend for me. I couldn’t help getting excited for her. When you start planning for your dream wedding, it starts with some great planning (she hired a planner! yay Bloom & BluePrint ) and then lots of cool details. I feel like I could go on about the aw worthy gown by Martina Liana, reception decor, ring boxes, bouquet – ok I’ll stop there for now. I just get excited and anyone that knows me knows that weddings are real for me. I want to capture all the experiences and with my second photographer Ashley plus assistant Ashlee, we did.

Mike and his guys were getting ready and having a blast in the piano bar area. I can’t believe how much fun guys get to have and the vibe from manly to visit the woman, which is so pretty. Plus the video team was helping capture all the fun in between the stills. So happy all the ladies had matching shirts and did a toast to kick off the day. Chelsea’s bridesmaids were incredibly supportive and made it fun to bustle her up a few buttons at a time. Just so everyone could be part of it. Then it was couch were used for group, couple and post wedding photos that made it a pretty addition. I couldn’t resist the mommy and daughter photos. Those are just a must when your baby is getting married.

Next up, the ceremony and the grand staircase. I don’t think I’ve seen such a beautiful sight. Mike was patiently waiting for family, the entire bridal party and then his bride. Wow! I was giddy inside too. After the ceremony they stopped for a special kiss moment that is definitely canvas worthy. You get to remember all the fun people at your day. Family photos and then desert photos with a drone too. Then, we welcomed everyone to the reception with a sparkler grand entrance outside by the fountain. Magical for sure to have everyone there for these. The reception was perfect with toasts (including one from the groom’s dad who spoke words for best man who couldn’t make it because his 1st baby was born), cake cutting, garter and just lots of partying. Thank you’s are always fun and in order when the wedding is over and that’s how the night ended. Just a fun way to tell all your guests. Check out their incredible day.
