Weddings are meant to be be remembered. I can’t think of a better day than New Year’s Eve to celebrate a wedding. Surrounded by your closest friends and family. Katrina and Russell were married at The Boojum Tree in Phoenix and joined their guests at The Duce for an afternoon lunch. Lots of great memories and perfect weather (the rain stopped that morning). Katrina and her bridal party prepared at The Boojum Tree and waited excitedly as guests entered the main gate. Viewing luscious greenery and fun hashtags #kidds4ever were easy to realize a great use of their last name. Teals, pinks, reds and gray dressed the day. The groom was eager to open a special card from his wife that shared special moments for them. As the music played their bridal party made their way down the aisle. The flower girl was held by her mom as they walked in the processional. As the officiant welcomed the newest married couple, you could see guests happy to celebrate The Kidds.
The party continued at The Duce for a delicious lunch. Guest tables were decorated with game centerpieces and you could play. Toasting with mason jars of beverages was a fun treat. Katrina and Russell celebrated their First Dance in the boxing ring of the venue. Classically cool with ropes to climb over. Each part of the venue had something unique to offer. There was a marquee sign of The Duce above the high school style bleachers. Next to that was a old fashioned treat shop. Of course, the wedding cake customized with a tortoise and hare were the cake toppers. Cute names for the couple. Cutting cake and dancing were the final moments I witnessed of 2016. Congrats to The Kidds.
